Pavilion and Vicarage Pools

Salmon – Sea Trout –  Brown Trout – Grayling

Historically the Pavilion Pool gas been a favourite with local Salmon anglers for several years. It is a short beat but has accounted for a large number of Salmon over the years. Due to the nature of the banks this is best suited for spinning and bait tactics – the water is relatively slow moving and deep.

This pool is somewhat overlooked nowadays in favour of other easier beats to fish, however it remains popiular with the locals and never fails to deliver a fish or two.

Trout and Grayling fishing is pemitted here but is better from the opposite bank.

Vicarage Run

This is a small section of water which is rarely fished for Salmon due to the nature of the riverbank on the CADAC side of the river. Trout and Grayling anglers do however enjoy good sport here when fishing this area from the opposite bank as part of the Town Waters beat.
