County Boundary

Salmon – Sea Trout –  Brown Trout – Grayling

This is one for the opportunist – it’s a small section of water and although anglers may fish for all game species this is primarily a Salmon Beat. Due to the nature of the beat anglers would be best advised to fish bait or to spin.

Please note that the return journey from the river is a long and steep walk – not for the faint hearted! However, this Beat has been reasonably productive over the years during periods when the Salmon are running.

Permitted Species for this Beat:

Salmon – Sea Trout –  Brown Trout – Grayling

Beat Rules – County Boundary

1) Although primarily a Salmon beat, members with the relevant permits and rod licences may fish for Salmon, Sea Trout, Brown Trout and Grayling.

Note: This is a very small section of water and the return journey is fairly long and very steep.

2) No night fishing.

3) Standard Club rules apply.
