The Long Reach

Sea Trout – Grayling – Trout

This is a very popular stretch of water and is one of the oldest CADAC beats. The uppermost section consists of a series of light riffles whilst the remaining majority of this beat is a slow to medium paced glide. The fishing here can be frantic and the Long Reach is at times the scene of some spectacular rises. This beat is extremely popular with dry fly fishermen. The access and parking are very convenient and wading is very easy here.
